It’s easy to forget when your team’s oldest player is 40, that there are other players who have been around the NFL for a pretty long time on your roster as well. Ted Ginn Jr. is the second oldest Saint behind Drew Brees. At 34-years old, that still doesn’t seem so bad unless your chosen profession relies on speed.
Of course, age is relative in today’s NFL. Drew Brees is proving that. He and Tom Brady continue their war over who will last longest and there isn’t a clear winner in sight. Both have taken their teams to the playoffs.
