But his comments helped spark a broader discussion about the league’s fleetest of foot, which some entrepreneurs took a step further in the first “40 Yards of Gold” tournament.
Ginn was one of the event’s biggest names, along with teammate Alvin Kamara. But when players reported for the big show, which was broadcast live on pay-per-view and attended by about 3,000 spectators, the Saints wideout was nowhere to be seen.
