Tampa still poaching Saints castoffs, hosting RB Terrance West

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers added cornerback De’Vante Harris two weeks ago once the New Orleans Saints let him go after two seasons with the team. Back in March’s free agency, defensive end Alex Okafor made his only visit to Tampa before returning to New Orleans and agreeing to a two-year contract.

Now the Buccaneers are making a third swing at the bat by hosting running back Terrance West on a free agent visit, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. West signed with the Saints back in June to compete for two-time Pro Bowl running back Mark Ingram’s vacancy, but he struggled to dislodge incumbents like Jonathan Williams and Trey Edmunds.
