Three-time Pro-Bowl guard Larry Warford, who has received multiple offers as a free agent since being cut by the New Orleans Saints, is opting out of the 2020 season, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Tuesday.
Warford is looking to start a family and will continue to train and revisit playing in 2021, the source said.
The Saints released Warford on May 8, saving more than $7 million in salary-cap space and paving the way for first-round draft pick Cesar Ruiz to earn a starting job.
Warford, 29, made the Pro Bowl in each of his three seasons with the Saints after they signed him away from the Detroit Lions with a four-year, $34 million contract in 2017.
