The New Orleans Saints won another nail-biter, but a win is a win, right?
The Saints were able to hang on to beat Teddy Bridgewater and the Carolina Panthers 27-24 in the Superdome yesterday, in a game that looked like it could go either way early. The Saints offense didn’t seem to miss a beat, despite being down their top two wide receivers in Michael Thomas (hamstring) and Emmanuel Sanders (Covid). On the other hand, the Saints defense - specifically in the secondary - continued to struggle, with blown coverages and poor tackling the story of the game.
