Sean Payton likes what he sees early on from Jameis Winston

Jameis Winston has caught the attention of the New Orleans Saints head coach early on in training camp. USA Today reported how Sean Payton noted that Winston looks leaner and he’s not scared to work. There’s nothing more gratifying for the Saints organization to have a backup quarterback last year that threw over 5,000 yards and comes in with a huge chip on his shoulder.

Winston is competing for the backup quarterback spot behind the future Hall of Fame quarterback, Drew Brees.
