Following Thursday’s practice at New Orleans Saints training camp in West Virginia, head coach Sean Payton spoke with the media. He confirmed that three cornerbacks came to work out for the team today, one being Alfonzo Dennard.
“We have three cornerbacks who worked out today, two veterans, one young guy,” Sean Payton said.
Dennard spent the earlier part of the offseason with the Arizona Cardinals, but he was waived July 29. A Super Bowl champion with the New England Patriots a season ago, Dennard was drafted by the Pats in the seventh round of the 2012 NFL Draft.
