RENTON, Wash. -- The Seattle Seahawks signed veteran offensive lineman Jahri Evans, the team announced Saturday.
Evans, 32, has spent his 10-year career with the New Orleans Saints. He started 11 games at right guard last season but was released in February. Evans made the Pro Bowl in six straight seasons from 2009 to 2014.
The Seahawks clearly could use a veteran presence on their offensive line. The five players who have been running with the first team during training camp have started a combined 111 games. Evans, meanwhile, has started 153 games in his career.
