After S.F. murder, Vitter again raps sanctuary cities

Sen. David Vitter, R-La., is trying to win passage of his six-year-old legislation denying federal money to cities with sanctuary laws, including New Orleans. More than 200 cities have such laws, and they don't routinely inform federal immigration officials when undocumented immigrants are apprehended or convicted of criminal activity.
