One year after helping erase over $2 million dollars in medical debt for New Orleans families, Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas is back at it again. This time, Thomas is working to help feed 500 New Orleans families.
The 2019 Offensive Player of the Year has partnered with Goodr, whose motto is “Feed More, Waste Less,” for a local event in New Orleans. Goodr is a distrubtion company that focuses on using modern technology and its nationwide logistics network to help fight hunger and reduce food waste. Goodr takes extra, unused food supplies and repurposes and re-routes this food to cafeterias, shelters, and charities to help people in need.
