Bleacher Report ran a piece on Tuesday, June 5, naming a “surprise starter” for every team in the NFL. For the Saints, they named running back Trey Edmunds. With Mark Ingram set to sit out the first four games of the 2018 Season, someone will have to take his place.
Sean Payton has already indicated that the Saints don’t plan on giving Alvin Kamara many more touches than they did in his 2017 rookie campaign. That means another running back will have to pick up the slack. But is that guy going to be Trey Edmunds?
