I honestly haven't seen enough of Sheldon Rankins this year to make an in-depth assessment, but the rookie definitely fits the profile that Donald had coming out of Pitt: somewhat undersized, but very, very disruptive. His combine results also compared fairly well against Donald; he wasn't as fast or quick, but has slightly longer arms. That they were drafted 12th and 13th overall two years apart might also be a bit of a good omen.
But the chances of him matching Donald? I'd bet against it, if only because Donald has turned out to be a transcendent player.
