Entering halftime down 20-10, the New Orleans Saints were being shredded by rookie quarterback Justin Herbert.
The Saints weren’t getting much going themselves on the offensive end until a big-time fourth quarter. They scored 14 points and salvaged the game after entering the quarter down seven, winning the second half 17-7.
They forced overtime behind a nine-yard Taysom Hill touchdown with just under a minute left in the game. From there, New Orleans let Wil Lutz do the heavy lifting as he knocked through 36-yard field goal that capped almost a five-minute drive.
Then, when Los Angeles was driving, it was Marshon Lattimore that had a game-saving tackle on Mike Williams, dropping him half of a yard shy of the first down marker.
