No other position group has thrown Saints fans off more during this offseason than the running backs. And that’s certainly understandable. With the team since being taken in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft, eight years of watching games with Mark Ingram running the ball, you get attached. Wait until Drew Brees isn’t out there anymore.
But it’s not going to be that big of a leap moving on from Mark Ingram. We all know it. Whether or not you liked or disliked Ingram because of perhaps a collegiate affiliation, he was a pretty good back.
