In a piece released yesterday, July 18, by Bleacher Report, they identified the most wide open position battles for every team in the NFL. For the Saints, they chose the linebackers. I would give equal billing to the wide receivers, but they’re right that the linebacker group for the Saints may be far from settled.
We’ve discussed it extensively since the end of the last season and the signing of Demario Davis. And Bleacher Report has reported on it this offseason as well. Linebackers have been an ongoing issue for the Saints for several years now.
