It’s the other shoe the Saints and PJ Williams have been waiting to drop since he was arrested back in January for DUI. The NFL announced today, Tuesday, Oct. 15, the Williams will serve a two game suspension without pay effective immediately.
Williams was arrested following a traffic stop back in January, just a couple of days after the Saints had been eliminated from the playoffs by the Los Angeles Rams. There were a number of charges, speeding, improper lane change, but DUI was the serious charge and it wasn’t Williams’ first time dealing with that.
