Baker Mayfield has been discusses as a target of the Saints in the 2018 NFL Draft for quite some time now. In fact, it’s been going on for about half a year. This despite the fact that the Saints would likely have to make some crazy moves to get him.
A lot of the fascination with Baker Mayfield is from comparisons to Drew Brees. The problem with that is that most of those comparisons are due to his height. Mayfield is listed as 6-feet even. As is Drew Brees.
But that’s pretty much where the similarities stop.
