Well that’s frustrating. The New Orleans Saints need more bodies at the tight end position after injuries sidelined Garrett Griffin, Adam Trautman and Nick Vannett. Only Juwan Johnson and Ethan Wolf were available for Tuesday’s practice session. Expect some free agents to try out this week so they can at least field a full depth chart while Trautman and Vannett recover from their injuries.
But it stings to miss on a potential addition like this. ESPN’s Field Yates reports that the Saints submitted a waiver claim for former Houston Texans tight end Kahale Warring, but they were leapfrogged by the New England Patriots.
