We’re two games into the 2020 NFL season, and the New Orleans Saints have not gotten much of a return out of their draft class. That was expected (to a point) when they only made four selections, citing the depth of their well-experienced roster, but you’d still think they would at least try and find ways to add players who can help right away. Especially in a season that looks more and more like the end of the line for Drew Brees.
Let’s take a deep dive into every position group’s snap counts against the Las Vegas Raiders:
- QB Drew Brees: 60/60 (100%)
- RB Alvin Kamara: 41/60 (68%)
- RB Latavius Murray: 16/60 (27%)
- QB Taysom Hill: 14/60 (23%)
- RB Ty Montgomery: 6/60 (10%)
- FB Michael Burton: 2/60 (3%)
This was a great Kamara game, and he posted his highest yards from scrimmage total (174) since a road win over the New York Giants on Sept.
