No further details are available or any information on money or contract duration. He’ll take the roster spot open from Sheldon Rankins being put on the PUP list.
Hood is going into his 11th year in the league. He was originally taken by the Pittsburgh Steelers, first round, 32nd overall, in the 2009 NFL Draft out of Missouri. His name is actually Evander, Evander Hood. His father was a big fan of Evander Holyfield.
