Since the 2019 offseason started, even earlier in the case of reserve tight end Josh Hill, the Saints have been taking care of some of the less recognized players on their roster. Players you won’t notice like you do the big names. These are the Saints who do much of their work on special teams. One of the best doing that with New Orleans is safety Chris Banjo.
On Saturday, Mar. 9, Banjo was rewarded with a three-year contract extension for $9 mil. That’s a nice little raise and one that’s long overdue in Banjo’s career.
