The New Orleans Saints informed season ticket holders that prices would be rising again in 2019 after an earlier increase in 2018. Luke Johnson of the Times-Picayune reported that season ticket prices are rising by about $8 on average, though the exactly increase depends on the seating section. Prices rose by $9 on average following the 2017 season, and approximately $5 in 2016.
It’s the price fans pay to see a successful team. The Saints have won the NFC South division title in consecutive years, making deep playoff pushes each time. This is a franchise with Super Bowl aspirations ahead of them, and they expect to continue setting the tone for the rest of the league after winning 26 of their last 36 games (going 11-5 in 2017, 13-3 in 2018, and 2-2 in their last four playoff games).
