Saints' Sean Payton has no complaints over officiating on blocked extra point

METAIRIE, La. -- Sean Payton said he felt the same way Monday after reviewing the tape as he did Sunday afternoon.

The New Orleans Saints coach said he had no complaints about any of the officials’ decisions on the Denver Broncos' blocked extra point or the 84-yard return for a two-point conversion that gave Denver a 25-23 lead with 1:22 remaining.

Payton backed up what both the NFL’s current and former head of officials (Dean Blandino and Mike Pereira) have said in replay reviews -- that there was no conclusive evidence that Denver returner Will Parks stepped out of bounds or that Denver defensive end Jared Crick did anything illegal by pushing Saints long-snapper Justin Drescher’s helmet toward the ground.
