It was announced late Monday afternoon, Apr. 1, by FOX 8’s Sean Fazende, that the Saints were scheduling a workout with NCAA all-time sack leader, Louisiana Tech’s Jaylon Ferguson.
There are a few things to note about this visit. One being that the Saints are in need of depth at defensive end. With the loss of Alex Okafor to the Kansas City Chiefs in free agency, they have Cameron Jordan, last year’s first-round pick Marcus Davenport, Trey Hendrickson and newly acquired Mario Edwards on the roster.
