Saints rookie, Carl Granderson, to serve six months in jail

The primary reason Wyoming defensive end Carl Granderson‘s stock value nose dived ahead of the 2019 NFL Draft was two cases pending on charges of sexual battery and unlawful contact. The verdict came down today, Thursday, Jul 11, and it was not good news for Granderson. Found guilty, he’s been sentenced to serve six months jail time.

Apparently, a plea deal Granderson thought had been struck didn’t match up with what the two female victims in the case thought was going to happen. Granderson thought he was agreeing to plead no contest to two charges, sexual battery and unlawful contact.
