The New Orleans Saints re-signed backup cornerback Kyle Wilson to a one-year deal, according to ESPN’s Field Yates.
Exact terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Yates reported that it comes with an $80,000 signing bonus. Wilson likely signed for the veteran minimum, which would allow his salary-cap number to be in the $700,000 range under the veteran minimum salary benefit, like it was last year.
Wilson, 28, was a decent addition for the Saints in 2015, though he had his share of struggles along with the rest of New Orleans’ pass defense.
