A come-from-behind victory for the New Orleans Saints in Week 5 did a lot to help their case for the 2020 playoffs. With a 3-2 record and the Week 6 bye ahead of them, the Saints were given a 72% chance of reaching the postseason by FiveThirtyEight.
That’s the fourth-best percentage in the NFC, behind the 5-0 Seattle Seahawks (95%), the 4-0 Green Bay Packers (95%), and the 3-1 Los Angeles Rams (79%), which would position the Saints as the conference’s third seed if that ranking were converted into playoff seeding. New Orleans also has a 49% chance of winning the NFC South.
