From Evan Woodbery at NOLA.com: New Orleans Saints safety Vinnie Sunseri, receiver Nick Toon and linebacker Ronald Powell were placed on the injured reserve on Wednesday after going unclaimed on waivers. The Saints waived the three players -- all former draft picks -- on Tuesday before the roster cut-down deadline. They remain members of the Saints organization but don't count against the roster limit.
