NEW ORLEANS - The left side of the New Orleans Saints' offensive line took another hit Sunday when standout left tackle Terron Armstead left the game with an ankle injury in the first quarter.
Armstead, a second-team All-Pro last year, was officially ruled out after halftime.
The extent of Armstead's injury was not immediately known, but he was able to walk off the field under his own power before eventually riding a cart back to the locker room. The Saints have a quick turnaround this week before they play at Atlanta on Thursday night.
