Saints Improved but Come Up Short

Questions were answered on Sunday for the New Orleans Saints but gutsy calls and clutch plays by the Raiders proved too much to overcome as they fell 35-34 to Derek Carr and company in the 2016 season opener. Ultimately, though the Saints defense looked improved to a degree, however, the big plays and untimely penalties that have haunted them in the past were back to put the kibosh on things once again.
