ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports free agent G Orlando Franklin visited with the Saints and the two parties are “discussing a deal.”
The market for Franklin appears to be picking up, as he recently worked out for the Jets earlier this week.
Franklin previously visited with the Jaguars but wound up leaving Jacksonville without a contract and his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, mentioned that he contacted the Dolphins on his client’s behalf.
Franklin, 29, is a former second-round pick of the Broncos. He finished playing out his four-year rookie contract with Denver and signed a five-year, $36.
