Jermon Bushrod came through in the clutch for the New Orleans Saints when Terron Armstead went down with an injury, returning to his old spot at left tackle and holding it down for six games until Armstead was fit to return. But Bushrod paid a big price: he will be going under the knife to repair a gnarly thumb injury on Jan. 29, per Luke Johnson of the Times-Picayune.
