It’s just the first week of the official NFL offseason and the third week for the Saints since their loss to the Rams in the NFC Championship Game. And already we’ve had two players facing legal issues that could hurt the team, at least in the beginning, of the 2019 Season. On Thursday, Feb. 7, we learned that defensive tackle David Onyemata had been issued a misdemeanor for marijuana possession for an incident that happened in January.
Without getting into the debate over whether or not marijuana should just be legal or not, it still is in Louisiana.
