It was pretty much your typical Preseason Week 4 for the Saints as they fell behind early then kept it close all game to come up short 16-13 to the Miami Dolphins to close out the 2019 Preseason. Whatever important questions may have been out there for the Saints coaches to gather, it’s not clear if anything was answered to their satisfaction.
The Saints defense was just passable as former University of Michigan quarterback Jake Rudock pretty much had his way going 22 of 29 for 229 yards and a touchdown. If it matters at this point, Taysom Hill and Teddy Bridgewater seemed to draw back fairly even with both having decent if not consistent evenings.
