Demario Davis looked good on paper when the Saints signed him over this most recent offseason. But, of course, New Orleans has been down that road before. Players who seem like they’ll be a fit only to turn out to be huge disappointments. Jairus Byrd and Brandon Browner are names that top that list.
Those other players looked good, maybe even great, in the systems they were in before coming to New Orleans. So there was still trepidation about Demario Davis joining the Saints. He was a monster in his 2017 campaign with the New York Jets.
