cornerback Delvin Breaux could be heading to injured reserve, and then return to the active roster.
Breaux, who recently underwent surgery to repair a fractured fibula, is projected to be out four to six weeks.
And the Saints could elect to utilize one of the team's two spots on injured reserve to return on the third-year pro.
"His will be fairly easy," coach Sean Payton said Tuesday. "With a reserve/injured designation, that means he's got to be on the active (roster) for a day, and then go to that. With the timeline of his injury, it fits that tag.
