Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Saints CB Delvin Breaux (fractured fibula) suffered a setback in practice this week, which will make it difficult to be activated this year.
- Nick Underhill first reported that Breaux was unlikely to be activated for this week’s game.
Saints actually designated Breaux as one of their two players to return from injured reserve a few weeks ago, which opened a three-week window of time for the team to add him to their active roster.
Breaux, 27, wound up signing on with the Saints as an undrafted free agent back in May of 2015.
