One of my keys heading into the Week 7 matchup between the Saints and Ravens was having Marshon Lattimore shadow Ravens receiver John Brown. That didn’t happen and Brown had a day on Ken Crawley. It’s clear that the Saints need to make a move at the upcoming trade deadline to repair the one gaping hole on their defense.
The trade deadline is Tuesday, Oct. 30. So the Saints still have time to do some serious wheeling and dealing. All that’s missing is trade bait and draft capital and salary cap room. Yeah, that seems like a lot to overcome.
