The New Orleans Saints revealed which uniform combination they will wear against the Carolina Panthers in their Week 17 regular season closer: black pants and black jerseys. The announcement came via a simulation of linebacker A.J. Klein celebrating a turnover in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome from EA Sports Madden NFL 19:
The Saints made the black-on-black look their go-to look at home in 2018, a road trip with the Dallas Cowboys notwithstanding. The look was previously only used for big prime time games but the Saints instead chose to make it standard, phasing out their gold pants and looking to their Color Rush all-white alternates for when they played under the brightest lights.
