There was little room to cover the other Saints signing on a day that saw the team bring in Teddy Bridgewater. But on Wednesday, Aug. 29, the Saints also signed former Seahawks wide receiver Tanner McEvoy.
It’s understandable if you missed this one. First, Teddy Bridgewater. That’s all. But then, Tanner who? Also understandable. But this one is actually pretty intriguing.
McEvoy is a huge, 6-foot-6 and 230-pound, receiver who was signed by the Seahawks as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Wisconsin in 2016. Note, we use the term wide receiver very loosely here.
