The Saints were still adding players on Monday, Apr. 29, with a bit of a surprise twist. The latest and newest Saint is Southern Cal defensive end Porter Gustin. Signing Gustin to an undrafted rookie free agent contract is a good move for the Saints as it addresses a lack of depth at defensive end, something that wasn’t handled in the 2019 NFL Draft.
Regular readers of Who Dat Dish will be well-familiar with Porter Gustin. We had the Saints selecting him in at least two mock drafts including the first one we released this year.
