A lot gets changed with draft plans for the Saints heading into the 2019 NFL Draft with Teddy Bridgewater now sticking with the team through at least the 2019 Season. The team has successfully sold him on the concept of being their quarterback of the future with Drew Brees getting close to retirement.
Granted, we still don’t know how long that will be, but having to draft a quarterback with other needs and not much to spare in draft capital, this wasn’t the best year to shoot for a franchise quarterback via the draft.
