On a Thursday afternoon at the New Orleans Saints facility, it was almost as if safety Roman Harper had never left.
Harper was rotating in with the first unit during practice and even broke up a Drew Brees pass to Willie Snead on third-and-10 during team drills.
But make no mistake, things have changed in the last few years.
Harper has his old No. 41, but not his old locker (he has since moved a few spots over). The players in the building that he once spent every day with have moved on -- many of them into retirement.
