Vigil, who opted to forego his last year of eligibility for the Aggies, finished 2015 with 144 tackles. His tackle performance, which included 13.5 tackles for loss, led the Mountain West Conference and was sixth in the NCAA. According to the school, Vigil (6-foot-2, 239 pounds) had 123 tackles and 16.5 tackles for loss in 2014. Needless to say, tackling is his forte.
Vigil is a strong run defender, and made his mark as an inside linebacker.
