Report: Saints to work out former Bucs DB Robinson

The New Orleans Saints will be working out several defensive backs on Tuesday, including former starting cornerback Sterling Moore. Per a report from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, another candidate will be Josh Robinson.

Robinson first entered the NFL as a Minnesota Vikings third round draft pick back in 2012, but joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2016. He spent more time on special teams than anything else, seeing just 3 snaps on defense to 469 reps with the punt and kickoff coverage units. Robinson was named special teams captain for Tampa Bay in 2017, but was released during final roster cuts in September 2018.
