The New Orleans Saints have made a surprising reunion, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. After a wave of injuries struck the position, the Saints added depth at linebacker by reuniting with Stephone Anthony, one of the team’s first-round picks back in the 2015 NFL Draft. Anthony was traded to the Miami Dolphins in 2017 after losing his starting job as the Saints’ middle linebacker, following upgrades to personnel and the coaching staff. Anthony was not re-signed by the Dolphins after his contract ended back in March, and spent brief stints with both the Atlanta Falcons and New York Jets over the summer.
