The Saints and Drew Brees are meant for each other, and it appears both sides are well aware of this incontrovertible fact. Although Brees is set to become a free agent when the new league year opens in March, both sides want to meet at the altar to renew their vows. While any of many different scenarios could come to fruition, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport says a short-term deal is in the works.
