The New Orleans Saints sent a shudder through the Who Dat Nation on Thursday, when superstar running back Alvin Kamara was listed on the injury report with an ankle injury. Those concerns only grew on Friday when Kamara’s practice participation was downgraded from limited to sitting out altogether.
But there’s good news. Per Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, Kamara’s rest on Friday was a purely precautionary measure; his ankle isn’t considered to be a major injury, having tweaked it earlier in the week. He’s officially listed as questionable for this week’s road game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, meaning he should travel with the team and go through warmups at TIAA Bank Stadium on Sunday morning.
