The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has hit the NFL again, with the Carolina Panthers sending everyone home on Monday after receiving an unconfirmed positive test result. The sample was sent in for re-testing and the team will continue to work remotely on Tuesday out of an abundance of caution.
While it doesn’t mean his test was the unconfirmed positive, backup Panthers guard Michael Schofield was placed on the reserve list.
Carolina is scheduled to visit the New Orleans Saints at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, not LSU’s Tiger Stadium, in Week 7 on Oct.
