The New Orleans Saints were forced to play the Green Bay Packers in Jacksonville in the aftermath of Hurricane Ida.
For all of the questions about how the New Orleans offense would perform after the retirement of Drew Brees, hopefully the first half of this game has put some of those concerns to bed. Jameis Winston and Alvin Kamara, led by the play-calling of Sean Payton, have helped the Saints build an early 14-point lead. Sean Payton has shown he’s willing to be aggressive with his play-calling, going for two fourth downs, both of which were picked up by wide receiver turned tight end Juwan Johnson, the second of which went for a touchdown.
